St. Clair's county and municipal record groups are oulined in the site's Database of IRAD Holdings, as are detailed record group descriptions, the IRAD Depository contact information, and Research Policy. Pre-statehood (1818) records for St. Clair County are at the Illinois State Archives (ISA). The ISA manages IRAD. The websites look very similar and some St. Clair vital records are indexed on the ISA site (read more below). IRAD handles county and municipal records. |
